Can I really make a video from just one sentence?+
Yes. Type a single sentence such as "3 habits that make you sleep better" and PennyVid writes a full 15 to 90 second script from it, then voices and renders the video. You can also paste your own script if you already have one.
How cheap is PennyVid?+
PennyVid is built to cost pennies per video. You pay only for what you make: writing a script costs 1 credit and a video costs 1 credit per second, and failed renders are refunded. New accounts get 50 free credits when they sign in with Google — enough for a script plus a 30-second video with room to spare. Videos on the free plan carry a small PennyVid watermark. When you need more, credit packs start at $2.49 for 100 credits, are valid for 365 days and remove the watermark — no subscription.
Which platforms and sizes are supported?+
Every video can be rendered as 9:16 vertical (1080×1920) for TikTok, YouTube Shorts and Instagram Reels, 16:9 landscape (1920×1080) for YouTube, 4:5 (1080×1350) for Facebook and Instagram feeds, or 1:1 square (1080×1080) for X.
How long can a video be?+
Scripts are written for 15, 30, 60 or 90 seconds. You can also paste or edit your own script; the final length follows the voiceover.
What languages does PennyVid support?+
The script is written in the language you type your topic in, and the voiceover and subtitles follow it. English, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, French, German and many other languages work.
Can I use my own images?+
Yes. Upload up to 5 JPG, PNG or WebP images and the whole video uses only them, in order; stock photos are used only when you upload none.
Do I need video editing skills?+
No. There is no timeline to edit. Pick a topic, a script style, a voice, a size and music, and PennyVid renders the video for you, usually within a few minutes.
How long are my videos stored?+
Finished videos are kept for 30 days and can be downloaded as MP4 at any time during that period. After 30 days they are deleted automatically.
